The Palau International Ship Registry, which styles itself as the world’s fastest growing flag, added yet more vessels into its fleet with the signing of two new ship registrations last month in Dubai.

Two unnamed vessels were registered by Al Rafedain Marine Services general manager Kamal S Khalil at the Palau International Ship Registry (PISR) stand during Seatrade Middle East 2018 held in Dubai.

“This is yet another example of how far Palau International Ship Registry has come in such a short few years. From being the newest registry in the industry just over five years ago, we are now recognised as the fastest growing flag and as a SMART registry. Having Al Rafedain Marine Services and their vessels as part of the Palau fleet means we are increasing our services in the shipping sector,” said Palau International Ship Registry chief executive Panos Kirnidis.

Business, operational and technical issues impacting the crude, product and chemical tanker trades will be discussed in London at the Tanker Shipping & Trade Conference, Awards & Exhibition, 20-21 November 2018.
